Sudheesh C Sudhakaran is a seasoned technology leader with over 23 years of experience in building and scaling engineering teams. Currently, he is the Senior Engineering Director for Tanzu Kubernetes Grid at VMware, where he is responsible for creating cloud-native open source teams that enable customers' app modernization journey. Sudheesh is also actively hiring Kubernetes developers to join his team. In his current role, Sudheesh is an enabler for the Tanzu Kubernetes Grid engineering team in India, with a focus on various areas such as Kubernetes upstream, Tanzu Edge, Tanzu Community Edition, Tanzu Framework, Tanzu Kubernetes Releases, and Cluster API Providers. Prior to this, he created the OVHcloud entity in India and was responsible for setting up its identity and purpose. He led the Product Integration Business Unit, which designed, architected, and built a partner integration platform to onboard partner products, such as PaaS products, into OVHcloud's product catalog. Sudheesh also established other R&D teams, including DRaaS, UI, Networking, Core Services, and global support and Solutions Architecture teams in India. He worked closely with the developer and startup ecosystem, leveraging OVH's startup accelerator program for startups. Sudheesh's past experiences include working as the Tanzu Kubernetes Grid Engineering Director at VMware, where he was responsible for building and scaling the Tanzu Kubernetes Grid team in India. He has also worked as the Head of Product Integration Unit and Managing Director at OVHcloud India, a global hyper-scale cloud provider that offers businesses industry-leading performance and value. Sudheesh holds an MBA in Information Technology from Sikkim Manipal University of Health, Medical, and Technological Sciences. He has expertise in various technologies, including Kubernetes, Senior Software Engineer, Integration, UI, Infra, Product Manager, and Web.
